We are all being presented with increasing costs, potential supply chain disruptions, inflation and general dismissal and marginalization by the broader economic system. We are also faced with the much larger issues of climate change, the emergence of AI and potential economic regression. All of these factors require us to increase our individual and community resilience in order to maintain our health and productivity. But beyond this -or our own self interest and survival- we actually do also have the responsibility to contribute something of value to the world. Building immediate capacity achieves both of these goals.
I am offering a consulting service that will assess your personal living situation and offer a detailed report on your current snapshot in regards to your level of resilience. We will work together to building a strategic action plan that will address existing deficiencies.
The service generally includes an interview and discussion, a site visit (in person or virtual), the delivery of tangible recommendations and follow-up consultation. Each plan can be structured to meet your interests and budget. Most people will be able to achieve dramatic improvements by acting on only a handful of key domains within their lives and properties. I think its important to take a few steps back and look at all aspects of life in, both internal and external, as well as individual and collective. Domains of work could include something as simple as installing an off-grid water pump or something as complicated as optimizing an orchard installation plan with lifestyle considerations.
