Farm Tours
Peter offers farm tours on Saturday afternoons during peak season in July and August. He is a wealth of knowledge about landscape design, edible plants, natural building and all things food and farming. Depending on the week there are always interesting things to eat. The Campground
We are offering a basic group campground in a fantastic secluded location by our main waterway. The site currently features bark mulch tent sites and two cedar outhouses. We have plans to add hot showers and an outdoor kitchen in 2025. The site is a stones throw away from a trail directly into Denman's Central Park. There are 4 sites that can accommodate up to 16 people.
Workaway Stays
We host workawayers during the growing season. The task list is varied and ranges between the garden, the orchards, the nursery, the forestry department and whatever building is currently under construction. Workawayers stay in either the Tiny AirBnB or the Barn Studio, depending on logisitcs.
Tiny Airbnb Farm Stay
We are excited to host our first guests in the spring of 2025! The Tiny was the first building that Peter built here, over 20 years ago. In 2024 we doubled its size and added modern amenities: a walk in shower, a composting toilet and a sitting area by the woodstove. It has retained its original charm: heavy timbers, earthern plaster, sod roof and tiny character. Part of the experience of staying in the tiny is the experience of the farm itself. The house will be stocked with seasonal foods and we will give you a personal tour of the farm systems.
